About the "Warrior of 9 - The Special Relativity of Love" Movie
The "Warrior of 9" is a love story. A story of a man and a woman who are destined to meet and fulfill their destiny. The movie explores - with realistic tools - the symbolic and relative nature of fate and human relationships, such as our heroes’ love for each other, in the context of the different viewpoints of reality, both space and time.
The male character - the Warrior - is a new immigrant in the US, living homeless and jobless in San Francisco, but never stops dreaming about getting started. As the story progresses, the man and the woman cross each others' path - or the same slice of space-time - more and more often, until we start believing in their common fate, but we become less certain about the nature of this destiny. A recurring symbols in the movie are two trees (of the man and the woman), the seemingly only absolutely real objects in our heroes’ space-time, trees visited by them frequently during the movie. The events around these trees and the lovers' visions and their dreams about each other represent their shared reality and their growing feeling of each others' existence and eventually we’ll start considering them as one soul, the male and female characteristics of it, one that was separated in the past. In the past that is frozen forever.
We'll continue to wonder until the very end: Are we witnessing fate itself or just the illusion of it.
What inspired Warrior of 9?
The Warrior of 9 was inspired by a very exciting conversation I had on a recent trip to 17-Mile Drive in Pebble Beach, California. It was about the current state of theoretical physics and the paradoxes of traveling backward in time. It got even more exciting when my friend accelerated the car on the way home to illustrate the theory of special relativity and the differences in how time and space is observed by objects traveling at different speed: a plane above us and another car in our case. And although the minuscule speed gain compared to the speed of light did not justify my sudden understanding of Einstein's theory, the adrenaline rush while driving down the highway among the ancient red woods certainly made me feel it more than ever. He also talked in details about a less known paradox of time travel, one that implies that the past before the moment of the very discovery of the time machine will be frozen forever. The concept of the frozen past shocked me. It shocked me in a gorgeous way.
I guess that was the very moment of the inspiration for the movie.

Regarding copyright and related issues
Some of you have asked, so we added this section for clarification: All rights of the final movie is reserved and copyright of Kinga Kulcsar. Please consider this as an art project and your contribution - which we are very very thankful for - as "charitable" support. The gifts and recognition are listed on the sidebar for different pledge levels. We have not decided on distribution yet but we will definitely submit the final movie to film festivals and we will provide recognition and exposure for our supporters all the way during the process. Sorry if this sounds too official and legal, but I wanted to make sure that it is clearly expressed to avoid future confusion. Thank you for your understanding.
