PLEASE MAKE POSSIBLE THE NEXT ISSUE OF THE OCCUPY WALL STREET PROJECT LIST!
The Occupy Wall Street Project List is a monthly publication that arms people with crucial knowledge about active Occupy projects in the NYC area and the necessary contact information to get directly involved in organizing to save our communities and our future.
Occupy Projects are innovative and courageous. They spark honest conversations about economic inequality and political repression. They stir up a fight on to the issues that deeply effect more than 99% of us.
It is vital that information about Occupy activities reach the public. The corporate media would like us to disappear, and the authorities -- often with the force of violence -- impose increasing limits on our use of public space for democratic communication.
The first OWS Project List was printed in February, and was met with gratitude by those looking for practical and inspiring information about Occupy. Your contribution will make it possible to print and distribute 10,000 copies of the next issue throughout the NY metro area.
Because The Occupy Wall Street Project List builds communication among diverse neighborhood based Occupy movements, this publication creates a space for political organizing that crosses barriers of race and class -- enabling the kind of discussion and mutual understanding that a broad movement requires but that corporate media will never provide.
In order to reimburse for the costs of the first edition and print the next issue, we need $2,000. We ask you to donate $10 or more today.
